The hotel staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, especially Genero, our breakfast waiter. He always had mouthwatering chocolate pastries ready for my wife. The free shuttle service to the city center and Vatican was a huge convenience, running multiple times in the morning and evening. The rooms were fantastic with spacious balconies, and Mr. Sakis at reception was an absolute gem, going above and beyond to make our stay effortless. The hotel's free Wi-Fi, despite occasional slowness, was a great bonus. Definitely recommended for a great trip!

The Vatican City was right nearby 🏰. The breakfast here was tasty and nicely set up.

The rooms are very old fashion, and not in a good way. They look like they are from the the 60's and have not been updated since. The breakfast was the only good thing about the stay.

The rooms at Park Hotel Dei Massimi are simply amazing! You feel like you're in your own cozy hideaway with a touch of elegance. I loved how the room had satellite TV with channels from all over the world. It made me feel right at home, even in a different country. As a traveler who enjoys winding down with some TV shows, this feature was a pleasant surprise!
Although the hotel had a great selection of TV channels, I personally found it a bit overwhelming. However, I understand that other guests might appreciate the variety, so it's just my personal preference.

The shuttle service was a nice feature, but there were limited runs, and when they say "drop you off near the vatican", this does not mean at St. Peter's, it means at the Cipro Metro station behind the walls of Vatican City, equating to a long, hot walk to St Peter's in the middle of August. The breakfast was decent and was included in the price of the room.
We booked a quadruple room for 4 adults and 1 baby (3 months old). The baby sleeps in bed with us, but the hotel forced us to purchase another room because the baby counted as a person in the room, and they did not want 5 people in a room. There was no reason all of us couldn't have stayed in the one room. There was plenty of room for all of us in one quadruple room. The hotel was also quite a distance from Vatican City, and the hotel's shuttle service was not running at the time we arrived, so we took taxis.

Very nice hotel and rooms. Clean, big and beautiful rooms with very good air conditioning, minibar and balcony. Beautiful outlook from the balcony over big area of Rome. Breakfast buffet has big selections. Free shuttle transfer from the hotel to Vatican City or metro station and back. Free private parking.
Besides the shuttle service it's only with a 5-10min walk reachable via public transport (all bus routes 9xx from Cipro stop near the hotel). You have to make a reservation for the shuttle transport back to the hotel, which is not always possible if you don't have a tight schedule.

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and was impressed with the level of comfort and quality services provided. The location in a residential area was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, from printing last-minute tickets to providing helpful local recommendations. The room amenities were top-notch, with air conditioning, a mini-bar, and an in-room safe, ensuring a comfortable and secure stay. The continental breakfast offered a wide selection and the dining area had a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the shuttle service provided convenient transportation to nearby attractions.
I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Positive: Value for money! Very nice, helpful, attentive staff. Clean, spacious bathroom. Good breakfast and very pleasant dining room. The window in the room had curtains and blinders so you can make it totally dark at night. The neighborhood is 100% safe and quiet so it's no problem AT ALL to walk around at night (though bear in mind there are no buses after 12pm). Very easy to get from this hotel to the city center via bus or free hotel shuttle (once or twice a day they offer a shuttle that takes you to the Vatican or metro station). There are several buses you can take that arrive every few minutes and at least one of them takes you to the city center, the others take you to the metro station (20-25 minutes ride to the metro station, and about 4 minutes metro ride to the center) You can see the bus routes and timetables at http://www.atac.roma. We found the info to be totally accurate.
Negative: Not within walking distance from the metro (there's an urban rail station nearby but the websites and hotel staff insist the buses are better so we never tried it). The first night we heard the next door room had their TV on all night and you can also hear the rooms around you if their noisy. Although you only wait a few minutes for the bus, it can get very crowded. It's not too bad (no pickpockets or anything), just a little uncomfortable.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering great balcony views and nice amenities. the friendly staff made us feel welcome and were always ready to help with anything we needed. the good location provided easy access to many attractions and allowed us to explore the city at our own pace. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the free parking for our car.
The WiFi was unreliable and slow at times, making it difficult to stay connected with family and friends. the decor felt a bit outdated and could use some refreshing.

I always come back to my favorite hotel in Rome. The staff helped me with late checkin during my first stay. It has everything I need - free internet, car park, 24-hour reception, bar/ lounge, restaurant. Can't wait for my next trip.
